Wednesday 28.08.13      15 km

It has been raining all night. In the morning it pours down regularly. It's probably the great rain from Sapporo, that has arrived. I saw yesterday on TV how the cars were plowing through the massive waters.

I walk through the rain to the station where the train for Sapporo waits. The one I'm going to take tomorrow. Now I've got the ticket. Reserved seat was a bit more expensive, but the bike was free in spite of what others have told me, fx. the neighbour Travel Center.

There's both washing machine and drier in this humble hotel, so I'm about to do a proper washing of my clothes. The drier is a money machine, he said that. I give it 2 x 20 min for at least a little work. The rain has ceased and it ought to hang outside. My landlord has several indoor offers but we end up putting up my line in the rescue stairs in the back.

I find some nets and ask if any of them are his and - can you believe it! He's got wi-fi in this most humble of humble japanese hotels. Don't do much except transferring photos and write my blog and test the bicycle bag. It's works! Perfect.

I go for a small trip in a cycle track, where I come across a funny little creature.

Who knows what kind of animal he is?

A cycle track - can you believe it?

Back again I set the landlord to work. It has crossed my mind that I once managed to get it working again with the help of a strong magnet. In the sensor is something called a reed-relay, a magnetic switch, and if the two contact plates have come together, you can sometimes with a little luck pull them apart again. He does his very best but in vain. No magnets around here. I'll try in a garage in Sapporo, it's too late here.
